Despite the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 offering a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera as compared to the Moto M's 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, the Redmi Note 4 outshines the Moto M in performance. The images on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 are far more refined than that of the Moto M. Also, images shot in low light image are better on the Redmi than then Moto M.

Which Should You Buy? Moto M Vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

The Moto M is a reliable smartphone but it falls short of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in performance, camera specs and battery performance. Price is everything in a market like India and with the Moto M being Rs.3000 more than the Redmi Note 4, its hard to explain the value advantage the Moto M offers over the Note 4.  That gives us just one winner here, and that's the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
