By default, the Samsung Galaxy Tab features five Home screens. An indicator at the top of each Home screen, shows you which Home screen you’re viewing. Each Home screen page can be customized to add apps that you want to quickly access. There may be times when you don’t need as many Home screens or times when you wish you could include a few more. How to Add or Remove Home Screens on Your Galaxy Tab
1. Pinch the Home screen. To know more about touchscreen gestures read my previous post Gestures You Need To Know To Operate Your Touchscreen Device.
2. Tap the + button to add more Home screens. You can add up to a maximum of nine Home screens.
How to Remove a Home Screen on Your Galaxy Tab
If you don’t want as many Home screens you can delete the extra ones.
1. Pinch the Home screen.
2. Long press the Home screen panels you don’t want and drag it to the Trash icon. When you remove a Home screen, all apps, widgets, and other items in the Home screen will also be removed.
Now you can add or remove Home screens on your Galaxy Tab in a few taps.
