How to Set an Alarm on your Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android)

Setting alarms is one of the most common things we do, either on the phone, TV, or PC. If you have a Samsung Galaxy Tab,this tutorial is a guide on how to set an Alarm on your Samsung Galaxy tab. It’s pretty straightforward stuff, but if you’re new to the whole touchscreen thing, this tutorial might be of help.

How to Set an Alarm on your Samsung Galaxy Tab

1. From the Home screen, tap Applications ->Alarm Clock .
2. On the device, press the Menu Key  and tap Add Alarm.
3. Tap the required fields to configure the alarm.

• Repeat: Choose One-time event, or days for the alarm to repeat.
• Ringtone: Choose a tone for alarms.
• Vibrate: Enable or disable vibration for alarms.
• Snooze: Enable or disable snooze for alarms.
• Label: Enter a name/label or for the alarm.

4. Tap Done to save the alarm.

How to Delete Alarm Settings on the Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android)

1. From a Home screen, tap Applications ->Alarm Clock .
2. On the device, press the Menu Key and tap Delete alarm.
3. Tap the individual alarms to mark them for removal, or tap Select All.
4. Tap Delete to remove the selected alarms.

How to Configure Alarm Settings on the Samsung Galaxy Tab

If you wish to configure the alarm settings on your device:
1. From a Home screen, tap Applications ->Alarm Clock .
2. On the device, press the Menu Key and tap Settings.
3. Configure the desired settings.

• Alarm in silent mode: Enable it to play the alarm tones even when Silent mode is active.
• Alarm volume: Set the volume for alarm tones.
• Snooze duration: Choose a snooze period. When an alarm sounds, tap Snooze to repeat the alarm after the specified period of time.
• Side button settings: Configure the side buttons to use when responding to alarms.
