Kumoku A New Gaming Experience

Gaming is a passion for many. Kumoku is one of those challenging board games available for Apple users. The goal of playing this game is to get nine pieces in 3*3 array. It could be diagonals of 3 boards, or the same lines of 3 boards and more. Once the player completes one row or column or diagonal with 3 x’s or o’s, you score one point against it. To keep up the fun going, the developers have worked in this app by using AI (artificial intelligence) engines which ensures that each game and level is different. You have two options to select your opponent from. It can be you against the computer. It is not always that the computer wins! And the second option is that you can select your own partner, it could be a distant friend connected to you through the same application.

Kumoku app has derived some of its gaming techniques from games like SUDOKU and TIC-TAC-TOE. The gameplay is similar to TIC-TAC-TOE, but not completely. Here you need to get nine in an array to bag the trophy. The player with most points wins the game. If you don’t like cracking your brains, then this gaming app is a must for you. It slowly and steadily makes the player get accustomed to the game and thereafter, use their brains to chalk the best moves.

Different game modes are available. One player mode, Two player and or the Auto + mode. The current game is saved automatically when you switch off your device. There are three different difficulty levels. You could start with the easy, then jump to the normal, and finally reach the hard level. You can see the most recent move demarcated with a different color of x or o.

New players can go through the rules in the rules section, where detailed instructions are provided. There is an option to help you in the next move, if you get stuck. You just need to tap on the HINT button and the best move is made on your behalf.

The two players pick to play with a different piece or ball color with “x” or “o”. The balls or pieces can be part of one, two, three or more TIC-TAC-TOE at one time. The game is over when either player get Kumoku or simply completes an array with nine balls. But, if no one gets the array, then the player with more three in a row or column or diagonal wins the game.

Apart from a few random crash problems, Kumoku has very few issues. It is seamless to operate and has been garnering players from worldwide. So if you love easy board games, you can indulge in this game at only $0.99. The Kumoku app was updated to its most recent Version 1.1. The updated version supports Retina Display. One more exciting feature is, you don’t have to keep playing with the same boring background! You have the option to change the background theme. The updated version also has three new boards. Kumoku is developed by Peragames and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, iPad having iOS 4.3 or later.
