Well, you’ve probably heard by now that Windows 8, Microsoft Surface Tablets and PCs running Windows 8 are to be launched on October 26th 2012. Microsoft intends to make this launch a big affair as it is preparing holiday pop up stores across North America to showcase its products. These holiday stores are expected to offer consumers a variety of Microsoft products, plus provide answers and advice on how to get the best out of their software.
34 U.S. and Canadian holiday pop up stores are expected to open on Oct. 26, 2012 and will be set up in malls and other shopping centers. From Natick Mall in Massachusetts to Times Square New York City, and Aventura Mall in Florida, you’ll find a holiday store in almost every state. You can check out all the holiday pop up store locations here. And if you want a holiday pop up store to open in your city, simply head over to Microsoft’s Facebook page and let them know!
The web is awash with images of what the stores will look like. While it is a common sight to catch fans of the iPhone stalking the Apple stores days before the launch of the iPhone and the iPad, it will be interesting to see whether the same happens at Microsoft’s Holiday pop up stores.
