Remove Unwanted Apps from the Social Web Browser RockMelt Using the Quiet Mode

There may be times when you want to avoid distractions while browsing the internet using the social web browser RockMelt. The RockMelt team has updated it’s browser to allow you to do just that. You can now use the Quiet Mode option to remove unwanted apps such as the Facebook Friends Edge and Facebook and Twitter app notifications. This tutorial shows you how.

Click the RockMelt menu and choose Enter Quiet Mode to remove the App and Friend Edges in one go.

If you want to customize the Quiet Mode preferences, then click the RockMelt menu and choose Options. In the Options page, select Edges.

Then choose the Quiet mode preferences by checking or unchecking the desired check boxes.

That’s it. RockMelt now allows you to have a more clean and quiet web browsing experience.
