Have you ever missed recording a beautiful image or a moment because your smartphone camera was slow to load? Well, if you’ve been there before, you no longer have to fret about it. The Android app QikCam, is just what you need. The app is available for free and lets you take snapshots and videos on your android device in a single click.
Once you download the app from the Android Market, on the device, click the Menu button and tap Add.
In the Add to Home screen pop-up, select Widgets and in the next screen choose QikCam -Camera and QikCam – Video to add the respective widgets to the home screen.
Now you can simply click a widget to capture an snapshot or a video. There are also several screen sharing options to share your pictures and videos with friends.
You can also customize the name of your images, the photo resolutions allowed by your phone camera and set the time delay for the snapshot.
If you are in the habit of frequently taking snapshots with your Android device, this app will definitely make your job a lot easier.

Thanks for the tip now i can ccapture videos and that will help me explain things better when doing tutorials.
