At at event today in Bengaluru, the company unveiled their latest selfie focused smartphone, the Oppo A57 . Oppo A57 Price and Availability
Oppo A57 will be available in all leading retail stores as well as on platforms like Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Amazon starting February 3rd. Unlike its China launch, Oppo is only launching the Gold variant of the A57 and its Indian pricing is Rs.14,990.
Oppo A57 Tech Specs
We’ll start off with the Highlight Feature of the Oppo A57 – its camera. Oppo’s USP for the A57 is #UnstoppableSelfies. With that in mind, the company has added a 16MP front camera that comes with LED Flash and f/2.0 aperture. Users should take note of the new new hand gesture feature that will make selfie captures a breeze. Just opening the hand in front of the camera will do the trick.
The Oppo A57 also features a new Bokeh effect that will offset the background to a blur to enhance the selfie. At the back of the smartphone is a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED Flash.
The smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD LCD display with 720×1280 resolution. The physical Home button in the front also houses the fingerprint scanner. A Qualcomm octa-core processor powers the smartphone and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The Oppo A57’s 32GB internal storage can be expanded up to 256 GB via a microSD card.
This is a dual SIM phone that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oppo’s custom skin ColorOS 3.0. The smartphone’s connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, and GPS support.
The Oppo A57 is backed by a non-removable 2900mAh battery. It weighs about 147 grams measuring 149.1×72.9×7.65mm. The A57 is promising to deliver around 11 hours of power with intensive usage and around 13.5 hours in normal use.
