If you are a Windows Phone games enthusiast, you should be feeling good right despite the fact that it’s a cold, dull Monday morning with grey skies to greet you when you head out to work. (at least that’s what I woke up today to). I own a Windows Phone 8.1, so glum weather or not, I know there are some fun games I can check out in between my work breaks and that’s a cheerful thought. Incredible Toys is a delightful endless runner with tower defense elements where you take your toy heroes through an incredibly fun journey across Toy World and survive the adventures that ensue in the process. The game has cute storybook graphics that are delightful to watch and the gameplay isn’t too bad either as you explore new places, defeat a variety of enemies and take on big bosses such as Daddy Bear in a bid to stay alive. Trivia Crack
If you love trivia, this is a game that should keep you engaged for a while. The game features challenges from a variety of subjects including geography, history, art & literature, science and technology, entertainment, and sports. You need to collect characters related to each of the categories, or steal them if you can from your friends and spin a wheel to decide which category you will have to answer questions from. You can also decide if you just want to answer a question or duel with an opponent and steal his character. The game also includes power ups to help you answer difficult questions. Presently, there are over 100,000 questions in the game with more being updated on a regular basis. Star Wars: Commander
The immensely popular combat strategy game from Disney, Star Wars: Commander has finally made it to the Windows platform. You build a base, command an army and choose to fight for justice and freedom with the Rebellion or fight on the side of the mighty Empire. There’s a lot going on in the game including training and upgrading your troops, setting up an impenetrable defense mechanism and fighting epic battles against players from around the Star Wars galaxy. Age of Empires: Castle Siege
Finally, you can dig into Age of Empires: Castle Siege, a brilliant combat strategy game that sets you up in a historic battle in one of many great civilizations including the Brits, the Teutons, and Kievans. You will build a fortress, fortify your armies and then raid neighboring cities to mark your name in history. You can be a part of the world’s historical battles, recruit various heroes including Saladin, Richard the Lionheart, and Joan of Arc. You will need to sign in to Xbox with your Microsoft credentials if you want to play this one though. Price: Free. Download this once and you can play it on any compatible Windows device.
