Because the Bublcam is just an innovative way to capture your favorite moments, we wanted to go behind the scenes and find out how this creative camera came to be. “A few years ago the founder’s then 3 year old daughter tried to swipe down during a video she was watching. It was a video where her grandma’s face couldn’t be seen and she was trying to see it” (Kickstarter).
Greg Ponesse, COO of Bublecam Tech, tells us, “Sean and Dan [founder/CEO and CTO] first created the Bublcam on the top of a pencil. The Bublcam you see today was the culmination of that simple beginning and some serious iteration development. It also took some fantastic help and service from Cortex-Design, Bubl’s industrial designer and Lenso, their manufacturer. You can see just how far real determination and a dream can take you.” They wanted to create something that could capture content with an evolutionary method that would change the way we experience moments.

Greg also shares with us, “The Bublcam is really a game changer in how we shoot video and photos. You now no longer have to worry about the point of view or the angle from which you are shooting. Cool camera. But, for adventure I still like my goPro. Small, easy to mounth and affordable. The video quality is good enough on my eyes.
