Its called the Pronto and it claims to be the fastest charging portable battery yet. In keeping with its name, the Pronto can deliver super quick charging in just 5 minutes. It sounds crazy, but tests on the iPhone 5 have proven that your phone is ready for the go in just 5 minutes and in just an hour, you can power 9 such devices. The developers claim to have a design that can make the Pronto charge up to 12 times faster than other batteries in the market today.
The Pronto will be available in 2 models; The 4500 mAh wielding Pronto 5 and the 13,500 mAh wielding Pronto 12. It comes with a smart charge chip that can charge your USB devices at its maximum rate of up to 2.4A. It is encased by a sturdy hard anodized aluminum cover and has a durable nylon strap that holds its protective cap down. The versatile strap can also be used as a carrying band or to secure the device to your gear. A couple of custom dials on one side indicate the battery capacity and how fast the device is charging. The protective cap acts both as a stand, when in use as well as a protective water resistant cover to the ports. The Pronto 12 is perfect for charging larger device like laptops and DSLR cameras and its dual USB ports supports up to 4.8 A combined power.
