Kumoku app has derived some of its gaming techniques from games like SUDOKU and TIC-TAC-TOE. The gameplay is similar to TIC-TAC-TOE, but not completely. Here you need to get nine in an array to bag the trophy. The player with most points wins the game. If you don’t like cracking your brains, then this gaming app is a must for you. Different game modes are available. One player mode, Two player and or the Auto + mode. The current game is saved automatically when you switch off your device. There are three different difficulty levels. You could start with the easy, then jump to the normal, and finally reach the hard level. You can see the most recent move demarcated with a different color of x or o.
Sound effects make the play more fun and indulging. The game includes an example section showing seventy three Kumoku that will help you to decide your move. New players can go through the rules in the rules section, where detailed instructions are provided. There is an option to help you in the next move, if you get stuck. You just need to tap on the HINT button and the best move is made on your behalf.
You can share your game via email with Kumoku app, where the image is also sent along with the results. Auto+mode can be used to learn new strategies seeing the computer playing Kumoku. This shows the Kumoku array with small balls slightly above the center for visibility.
The two players pick to play with a different piece or ball color with “x” or “o”. The balls or pieces can be part of one, two, three or more TIC-TAC-TOE at one time. The game is over when either player get Kumoku or simply completes an array with nine balls. But, if no one gets the array, then the player with more three in a row or column or diagonal wins the game.
