Apple isn’t the only company that is releasing new and improved products, so is Amazon. and unlike Apple, the company is not settling for just a couple of devices, its going for a huge six new and improved devices starting with the new and faster Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 tablet, the Fire HD 7, the Kindle Fire HD 6, and the eReader Kindle Voyage. The HD fire 6 and HD Fire 7 models are coming with a kid friendly version as well. Sweet! That means, you can start putting together your Christmas Shopping list and start planning which of your little ones are getting what! The devices are all available for preorder and will be shipping in October.
The Fire HD 6
Amazon’s most affordable tablet at $99 gets you a fast quad core processor, front and rear cameras, and comes in five flashy colors, magenta, citron, cobalt, black and white. It features a 1280×800 HD LCD display with 252 ppi. The latest processor ensures that the devices runs twice as fast as its predecessor at up to 1.5 GHz and three times faster graphics engine so you can run the most graphically intensive games without a hitch. The Fire HD 6 also comes with a 2MP rear camera for capturing high resolution images and 1080p HD video. If you are into doing Skype calls or taking selfies, the front facing camera should be perfect. Photos taken on the Fire devices can be saved in the Cloud Drive for free. The latest tablet also lets family members create individual profiles so they can access their own accounts without peeping anyone else’s. There’s also a new Fire OS 4 codenamed Sangria which brings an updated design and exclusive features to the tablet. Shipping begins on 2nd October.
Fire HD Kids Edition
The Kindle Fire HD Kids edition is a powerful tablet designed exclusively for kids. Its no toy with a quad core processor, HD display, front and rear cameras, and Dolby Digital audio to give an engaging and entertaining tablet experience for the kids. The device is a tad pricier at $149, but it includes 1 Year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, 2-Year worry-free guarantee, and a kid-proof protective case.
Amazon FreeTime Unlimited is a collection of hand picked subscriptions of over 5,000 kid-friendly books, movies, TV shows, educational apps, and games. The tablets come in pretty colors pick, blue, and green and will start shipping on October 21st.
Fire HDX 8.9
The Fire HDX 8.9 is one of the most powerful tablets in the market with a quad core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor and Adreno 420 GPU to ensure up to 70% faster graphics performance that its predecessor.
The Fire HDX 8.9 is also the first tablet to feature the latest Dolby Audio. It also comes equipped with a super fast WiFi with speeds that can reach up to 600 Mbps, which is 4 times faster than the previous model.
The device will also feature the latest Firefly OS, Sangria, multiple profile settings and ASAP predictions. The Fire HDX 8.9 will come in 3 variants, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB at prices starting $379. Ships October 21st.
Kindle Voyage

There is an all new light sensor at the front that can automatically adjust the brightness based on the environment where you are using the device.
The Kindle Voyage has a redesigned look and feel that gives you a feeling that you are reading an actual book. The Kindle Voyage will be shipping on October 21st and will be available in a Wi-Fi model at $199 and a Wi-Fi+3G model at $269.
