If you add one or more search providers in the IE 9 address bar, you will find that they are listed in the order in which you have added them. There may be times when you want to view them in a certain order of priority. In this IE 9 tutorial, you will learn how to change the order of search providers in the IE 9 address bar.
1. Click the Tools button at the far right corner of the screen to display the Tools menu.
2. Click Manage add-ons.
3. In the Manage Add-ons dialog box, in the Add-on Types section, click Search Providers.
4. In the search provider list box, select the search provider you want to move up or down and click the Move up or Move down link to move a search provider up or down a list.

5. If required, click Alphabetic sort to sort the search providers alphabetically.
6. Close the Manage Add-ons dialog box.
How to Add More Search Providers In IE 9

1. In the Address bar, enter the search provider search term.
2. At the bottom right corner, click the Add button.

3. In the Explorer Add-ons Gallery, select the search provider add-on and click Add to Internet Explorer.

4. In the Add Search Provider dialog box, check the Make this my default search provider check box if you want to set it as the default search provider and click Add.
5. Observe that the newly added search provider is displayed along with the other search providers at the bottom of the drop-down list.

6. If required, click the search provider icon at the bottom of the drop-down list to switch the search provider.
Thus Internet Explorer allows you to add and use the search provider that you prefer to use while browsing the internet.
How to Remove a Search Provider in IE 9

1. Click the Tools button at the far right corner of the screen to display the Tools menu.
2. Click Manage add-ons.
3. In the Manage Add-ons dialog box, in the Add-on Types section, click Search Providers.
4. In the search provider list box, select the search provider you want to remove and click Remove.

The search provider is now removed from the Address bar list box.
