The LG Optimus L3 II E430 And Its Features

June 10, 2013

Looking for a smartphone that would best fit your needs is easy. You simply need to know which aspect of a handy phone is important in handling your daily needs. Some opt for bigger screens, larger storage space, longer battery life span or price. The price of a mobile device usually relies upon its processors, features, and of course its brand name. Another innovative technology that you might want your smartphone to have is back up VoIP calls, such as when you are subscribed to VoIP phone services such as RingCentral phone services. It’s computer-like hardware that can read, edit, and even send data via the Internet.

The LG Electronics Company has been making communication equipment for many years and is also continuing to improve their line of mobile units such as the Smartphones. This multi-national company caters clients from all over the world and is still opening many branches in all seven continents. Among its recently announced handy phone is the LG Optimus L3 II E430. This smartphone was announced to the public on February 2013, and is said to be released to the customers in the month of April 2013.

General Appearance and Hardware

The LG Optimus L3 E430 is a relatively smaller handset compared to its sister phone released in the same period. Its features are also less complex and the processors are not even high-end. However, this handset has all the basic features that a Smartphone should have. It has a 3.2 inch multi-touch IPS LCD screen that comes in 240 x 320 pixels and 125ppi pixel density. Its dimension has a measurement of 4.04 x 2.41 x 0.47 inches and weight of 107 grams. The unit can carry a mini-SIM with either 2G or 3G network. The processors that are responsible for making the unit work in a smooth pace are the GPU of Adreno 200, CPU of 1 GHz, and chipset of Qualcomm MSMS7225A Snapdragon. The operating system of a device is important to know which applications or programs may be downloaded and used in your unit. The LG Optimus L3 II E430 is an Android phone and it has the latest Jelly Bean operating system in version 4.1.2.

Internal Memory and Data Features

Having an internal memory of 4GB is generally not enough for most mobile users. However, the LG Electronics Company made a solution to this; they also incorporated a memory card slot that can suffice up to 32GB extra storage space. All the programs that are used simultaneously will be supported by its Random Access Memory of 512MB.

Photo and Video Taking

A 3.5MP back-facing camera is installed in this handy phone. Its quality has a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and 125ppi pixel density. This camera may also be used in taking quick videos but in not so good quality also.

Battery

The non-removable battery established in the LG Optimus L3 II is a 1540 mAh Li-PO battery. Its power can last for a whole day with regular use and at least 3 hours continuous talk time using 3G. For those owners whose intention is to use the Smartphone heavily, it is advised to always keep the charger close at hand.

LG Optimus L3 II E430 Pros and Cons

LG Optimus L3 II E430

Pros:

  • 3 amazing colors to choose from: Indigo black, Titanium silver, and White
  • Radio is ready to use
  • Sold at an affordable price
  • Manufactured in a much lighter weight
  • Latest operating system is pre-installed

Cons:

  • Video taking is only VGA in quality
  • No user-facing camera

Conclusion: This low end Android phone doesn’t really have enough to compete with other budget phones in its price range. For the price, you can go for better feature phones from HTC or even the Windows based Nokia. The LG Optimus L3 II E430 isn’t too bad a device, but if you value your hard earned money, you may need to think twice about adding this to your checklist.
