Logitech, known the world over for its innovative products in the field of computing, communication and entertainment recently announced its latest product the K480 Bluetooth Keyboard, which is the first desk keyboard that can be used by up to 3 devices. Today we are no longer working with just our desktops and laptops. We send an email from our desktop, come back later and reply from our smartphone or tablet device. That means we are probably working on a Windows or Mac desktop or a Chromebook, or even an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet during the course of a day. In such situations, it makes sense to own a K480 Bluetooth Keyboard.
The Logitech K480 Bluetooth Keyboard
Mobile users have finally come to terms with touch and swype keyboards but honestly speaking, there’s nothing like a good old QWERTY keyboard to work with. The Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 has been designed keeping in mind users like me who are more at home with a traditional keyboard. There are two very cool features about the K480 Bluetooth Keyboard in my opinion. Not only can you hook up different devices running on different platforms, it is also available at a very affordable price tag.
The K480 Bluetooth Keyboard is about 0.79 inches high, 11.77 inches wide, 7.68 inches deep and weighs about 1.81 pounds. Its Bluetooth range is up to 10 m or 30 feet. An integrated cradle is available at the top of the keyboard to place your phone or your tablet device and you can adjust it at the desired angles to read while you type. There’s also an Easy Switch dial at the top left of the keyboard that lets you easily switch between the different connected devices.
You can simultaneously hook up to 3 different devices running on any of the above mentioned platforms via Bluetooth. The keyboard is better suited to 7 to 8 inch devices while anything larger might be a problem.
