So often we are someplace great and we just want to let the world know about it. It could be a city we are visiting, a new shopping venue, or a great new restaurant. You could just tweet it out and let all your followers know on the spot. But, what if they were indisposed and could not read the message. What if they could listen to it? That’s where MotorMouth revs up and provides the perfect service to let you record a blip or blast of information. You can say what you are doing, where you are, who’s with you and how great or bad it is. Yes, this is like tweeting an audible; and it’s so great!
MotorMouth App Review
When you first download the app, you sit and wonder about what you are going to do with it; but, as you start using it, you will find that it frees you up to keep your friends and followers up to date on what you’re doing. You can really use this as real-time status on you. The beauty of this tool is that you don’t have to type.
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been driving around town and I needed to share some information about something I was doing or what I just saw. This app let’s you do just that, with two simple taps, one to start recording and the second to stop. After that, your mobile memo is marked on the map, letting others tune in to what you’ve shared.
Other uses include some more practical things such as sharing information about weather in your area, maybe some traffic or accidents you might be stuck in, or your whereabouts as you roam the countryside. GPS is a life-saving tool to help track where you want to go and lets others find where you may be. But, what if you could leave an audible trail of where you’ve been hiking, describing the sights you’ve seen and the points of interest you’ve come across.
Then, if someone needed to find you, and at the moment they were trying to find you they could not get a reading on your GPS device, they could go into this app and listen to your sequence of messages describing your track. This could serve an extremely useful purpose.
On a lighter note, share about something really interesting you just saw in a new museum showing, or maybe a new ice cream flavor that the shop down the street has created. Whatever your desire, you can shout-out to the world what you want and just share.
The messages you leave are brief, so when you listen to someone else’s message, you don’t have to worry about being detained for great periods of time on something that my end up being extremely useless. If it starts to sound like that, just press stop. Now, the downside to this is if you want to hear that message again, you have to listen from the beginning. There is no pause button that allows a restart.
However, outside of that one small snafu, this app is a really fun way to blurt out a blip about what you are doing and how wonderful it is, keeping you connected to your friends and allowing you to hear about what’s happening around you.
