SanDisk Extreme Pro, Extreme Go USB Flash Drives and Ultra 256GB microSD Card Launched in India

After announcing the devices at the MWC at Barcelona earlier this year SanDisk has announced the availability of the latest USB Drives in India. They include the Extreme Pro and Extreme Go USB flash drives and Ultra 256GB microSD card. We have all the details including features and pricing.

SanDisk Extreme Pro

SanDisk Extreme Pro 3.1 USB

The Extreme Pro is designed for creative professionals, tech enthusiasts, and users who create and shares huge files. It offers up to 420 MBps read speed and 380 MBps write speeds. The drive also has a built-in SecureAccess software along with a RescuePRO Deluxe service offering to help users recover lost data.

The 3.1 USB Drive can upload a 4GB file in just under 15 seconds. The Extreme Pro is available in 128GB and 256 GB variants. It is priced Rs. 8,490 for the 128GB variant and Rs. 13,990 for the 256GB variant. The drives will be available on Amazon India and select retail outlets.

The Extreme Go is available is available in 64 GB and 128GB variants. The 64GB variant costs Rs. 3,990 while the 128GB variant is priced Rs. 5,990. It has up to 200MBps read speed and 150MBps write speeds. These drives will also be available on Amazon India and select retail outlets. The 3.1 USB Drive can upload a 4GB file in just under 1 minute.

SanDisk Ultra 256GB microSD

The SanDisk Ultra 256GB microSD card meets the Application Performance Class 1 (A1) standards. The A1 compliance allows the card to manage random read input-output access per second (IOPS) of 1,500 and write IOPS of 500.

This compliance is optimized for apps making app launches quicker, in turn improving the smartphone user experience. Which simply means that it can quickly open apps, and process tasks like saving profiles and in-app-permissions.

The card can store apps from Android devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and higher. The SanDisk Ultra 256GB microSD card is priced at Rs. 18,990. It will be available from April 1st onwards only at retail outlets.?
