If the meager 16GB storage is getting quickly used up and you’re desperately in need of extra storage for your iPhone, consider getting iOGear’s MediaShair Wireless Media Hub. It is not too expensive, (considering other options) and offers a plethora of features that should wipe your storage blues away and even bring a smile to your face. MediaShair is basically a tiny external wireless hub that aids your internal storage needs. Let’s take a look at its key features.
Features of MediaShair Hub
MediaShair hub is a tiny lightweight router-like device at 2.8 x 3.7 x 0.6 inches making it a perfect gadget to carry with you in your travels. You can plug in your SC card, USB Flash Drive, or even a portable USB hard drive into one of its ports and using the built-in Wi-Fi connection, you can transfer or share movies, music, photos and document on up to 7 devices. So that means you won’t be just using MediaShair as a storage option for your iPhone, you can also use it with an Android device, or a laptop as well.
Once you plug your SD card, USB Flash Drive or external drive into MediaShair and connect to the internet, you can connect your iPhone (or other mobile device) to the MediaShair hub using the MediaShair app. You can also plug in a LAN connector to the Ethernet port and convert MediaShair into an Internet access point.
Here are some of the other handy ways you can use this versatile device.
Recharge your iPhone: MediaShair hub isn’t just a content sharing hub. It also comes with a built-in battery, which is handy for recharging your smartphones while on the go. The MediaShair Wireless Media Hub boasts a 2600mAh battery, which promises to deliver 9 hours of usage.
Take it on a road trip: The hub also includes a car charger, which means taking a ton of movies or your entire music library with you on a long road trip is possible.
SD card transfer: If your SD card has become full and you need extra space urgently, you can connect a hard drive to the hub and transfer the content to make room for more.
Play HD videos: MediaShair hub’s inbuilt EXFAT drivers will allow you to stream high definition movies and videos without any problem.
WiFI router: Hotel stays would be great if they came with great free WiFi, but in reality that never happens. The service is either crappy or pricey or mostly unfit for your needs. Just plugin your room’s Ethernet cable into the hub to convert your hotel’s wired internet into WiFi and use away.
In all, MediaShair Wireless Media Hub is a compact, versatile gadget to carry around with you when you need extra storage for your iPhone, especially when you have the habit of loading up your device with tons of pictures, music, and videos and constantly need more space. You also get the added benefits of charging your smartphone and using it as a WiFi access point while you’re at it.
MediaShair Wireless Media Hub is available on Amazon at $59. 57, should you care to buy one.

Hello.
My iPad storage is 16gb. It is up to 15.6gb and I keep getting warning messages about storage. Is there anything on the market that will allow me to transfer apps to a wireless external drive (the cheaper the better)? I do not have thousands of videos or photos, just a lot of apps that I use regularly.
Thanks.
