If your are an Android user residing outside the U.S, you know that not all Android apps are accessible to you. This may be annoying especially when you are in need of an app and are not able to download it. Luckily, the Market Unlocker app lets you access such paid or restricted apps quite easily. In this tutorial, lets take a look at how to access Android apps without country restrictions using the Market Unlocker app.
How to Access Android Apps Without Country Restrictions
The Market Unlocker app works only on rooted devices. If you are not sure how to root your device, the developers website offers some support, so be sure to check it out. Essentially, the app works by faking a carrier in order to gain access to location based Android markets. Once you download Market Unlocker, you can simply switch between the different markets available. The App also offers access to the Amazon Android App Store and you can easily switch back to the default market at a tap of the screen.
Users who have the latest version of the Android Market must enable proxy access so that the phone identifies itself with the country specific app store. Users who have the older version of the Android Market app can simply unlock the country specific app store. Users who want to access the Amazon App Store must have an Amazon account created in the US in order to purchase apps.
The only downside to this app is that it’s a bit tricky when it comes to setting up a proxy access. But you can always purchase the Pro version ($0.99) of the app to have the app automatically connect to the proxy and save you additional work.
However, there still might be some level of restrictions in accessing paid apps. In such cases the workaround will be to order a prepaid SIM card from the country that offers the paid app, replace your existing SIM with the newly ordered one and purchase the app from the specific Android market. When you switch your SIM card to the original one, you will of course lose access to automatic updates but you will still be able to use the restricted app now.

I find it annoying when I see an app that I like and find out that it is only available in the U.S. While I have yet to root my phone, if I do I’m glad there is a way around the location issue.
Of course, it would be better if apps weren’t limited to a specific region, but I guess there are reasons for doing so.

This is great post to use all Android apps. You only need to download Market Unlocker. But first of all you have to root your phone first.
