If you are a power user of Google applications such as Gmail Google Apps, or Google Drive, Insync is an app worth looking at. Insync is a desktop application that lets you share your Google Drive documents and set document permissions without having to navigate to a web browser. That’s not all. Read on to find out how Insync can help you work with Google applications more productively.
Working with Insync
Insync is a desktop app for both Windows and Mac. After downloading the application, and running the EXE file, I had to sign in using my Gmail account. I had the option to sync using the default option, which basically synced all the items in my Document library, or choose an Advanced Setup to customize what and where I wanted to sync.
Once that’s done, you can add multiple Google accounts to Insync. Right-clicking the system icon tray in the Notification area brings up the context menu with options to not only add multiple Google accounts, but also to move the location of the Insync folder, go directly to the Google Drive web app, view recent changes made to your Drive, set preferences and more.
This web tool solves at least one big defect of the Google Drive desktop app; that of providing access to data in multiple Google accounts. Plus, from your Insync account, you can use the right-click context menu to share your Google Drive files with others, share links privately or publicly and set permissions to view, comment, or edit the shared documents. All of this without opening the browser window.
Insync Other Features
Insync also supports various other features such as conversion of Google Docs to Office extensions, on-demand sharing, reverting to read-only files, symlink / junction / alias support, progress indication, external and network drive support among others.
Insync Pricing Details
Insync offers good value to users, but comes with an introductory price of $9.99 per Google account, a one time payment after your 15 day free trial expires. Additionally, you can earn some good by referral means. When you refer your friends and they do install Insync, you get an extension of your free trial by 15 days. If you referrals hit 10, you get a free Insync account.
Go ahead and give Insync a try, if you like to access all your Google Drive accounts more efficiently.

Because I use Google Drive a lot, I’ll be sure to get that app on my PC. However, for the most part I use my Chromebook, which can’t download executable. Great article!

I’ve found another way to access all your Google Drives from one account, thereby not having to log into your other Drives every time on your devices. It was a huge timesaver for me. You can read it here: http://goo.gl/N56MF.
