Lenovo’s new Yoga A12 will cost you $299. You can take your pick of the tablet in one of two flavors; Gunmetal Grey or Rose Gold. It will be available on the company’s online store starting this Wednesday, Feb 8th 2017.
Yoga A12 Android Tablet Tech Specs
The Yoga A12 packs an aluminum and magnesium build. It is a slim tablet about 5.4mm thin. It weighs just under a kilo, making it easy to carry around you when you’re on the go. The tablet sports a 12.2-inch HD screen with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. An Intel Atom x5 processor with 2GB of RAM powers the tablet. As far as internal storage goes, there’s 32GB onboard. Users can expand this capacity via a microSD card.
There is no rear camera on the tablet. According to the company you can get up to 13 hours of usage on the tablet in a single charge.
What makes this an Android Tablet for Productivity?
Well, for one, it comes preloaded with the Google Productivity Suite and includes a smart touch keyboard, the Halo keyboard. This keyboard sports a flat design with touch screen keys. It comes with a built-in prediction feature that can observe a user’s typing habits, learn and adapt from it to make future typing inputs more accurate.
If you want a break from your work, you can listen to music or watch movies and enjoy high quality cinema quality sound on the two Dolby Atmos speakers. The Yoga A12 also comes with a 360 degree hinge, that allows users to adjust the tablet to 4 different working modes.
The Yoga A12 is a streamlined version of the power tab Yoga Book, without the pen integration. It will be available in the Android version only as against the usual Windows 10 integration.
