Clean Master Phone Boost, my favorite app manager and cleaner app for Android and an extremely popular utility on the Play Store with over 280 million monthly active users all over the world is now available for Windows PCs as well Cheetah Mobile has announced. This handy tool is designed to help you clean up junk files so your system performance is not brought down unnecessarily. In this post, we take a look at the functioning of the PC Cleaner called Clean Master.
Clean Master for Windows
Clean Master is designed to clean up junk files generated by commonly used software on your Windows PC such as media, SNS software, games and registry files among others. Once you download and install Clean Master (it takes less than a minute to do that), the tool starts to scan your system automatically.
The Clean master UI itself is pretty attractive with clear segregation of junk files into system cache, web cache, other software junk, social software junk, video and audio junk, registry junk and online games junk. The components in each of these categories are displayed with attractive icons while scanning so you can see at a glance the junk files accumulated in each item.
To begin the clean up process all you need to do is hit the Clean Now button at the top of the screen. That said, It is better that you clean up entries individually, just to make sure you’re not cleaning up files that are important.
You can click on an item to clean it up, ignore it, or view the details of the junk files. Clean Master will sometimes warn you if there are files that are important.

You can hit the Ignore button when you think that a file is better off staying put. The tool also indicates if any application is running, and closes it for you if you so desire, or you could skip cleaning it for the moment.
What I liked about Clean Master is the fact that it completed its job super quick, without any lags. Just like in the Android app, there’s plenty of visual effects and color changes to indicate the change in the size of the junk files.
If your PC is slowing you down and you’re current PC cleaner is making your clean up process tedious, be sure to check out Clean Master and tell us what you think.
