How often have we injured ourselves at work or at home and wondered if it could be treated using simple home remedies? Too many times to count, I’ll bet. This is especially the case with kids who are always up to some mischief or other. But whatever the situation, it is natural to end up with some small injuries, pain, sores or sprains that can be treated at home. Xavier Tillou has published the Pain and Sores app that is the perfect toolbox where you can find useful information on how to treat your pain, sores and injuries at home or by yourself and know when to see a doctor.
Available on both Google Play and the App Store for $0.99, the app contains plenty of articles on treatment and home remedies when relevant. The app has a tabbed UI with separate tabs for various parts of the body that is prone to injury.
Each tab lists articles and clicking on an article title will give you details such as guidance on how to identify the injury, how to treat it and how to determine if it requires treatment from a doctor. All articles contain pictures and useful links on the topic. Emergency situations that require medical advice or assistance are also detailed so you know when to see a doctor. Most articles have useful web or video links to check out and the app is regularly updated with fresh content.
The app also offers quick access to the Facebook and Twitter pages of the app where you can access a selection of useful videos and links. In the Ideas section you can submit your ideas and article topics that will help improve future updates.
