4 Quick Ways to Share Documents on SkyDrive
1. Share using the Toolbar
You can share a document that you are working on by clicking Share in the toolbar. In the pop-up window, enter the email addresses of your recipients, a personal message, and set the edit or sign-in permissions and click Share. Sharing is just one –click away! Your recipients will instantly receive a link to access the file.
This pop-up box also allows you to share your documents on social networking platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
2. Right-Click to Share
One of the easiest and most commonly used methods to access frequently used commands is the right-click action. It’s the magic genie that’s always around to help accomplish things quickly. Now you can not only view, edit, or download documents, but also share them easily.
3. Share a Link
If you want to share your Office documents with a specific group of people, you can create a link that you can then share with that group of people. You can also set permissions according to how you wish the document to be used by the recipients. To share a link, click Share in the toolbar,(as seen in point 1) and then click Get a Link. From the pop-up, select the option with the desired permission levels.
4. Share by Embedding Document on Blog
You can share your Excel or PowerPoint files by embedding them on your blog or website. To embed a file, right-click the document, click Embed, then click Generate. A HTML code will be generated that you can incorporate into your blog or website.
