Wireless – 4G LTE, 2.4GHz to 5 GHz (up to 150Mbps)

Generation Long Term Evolution is the latest wireless communication standard adopted by Apple for its new mobile and tablet devices. It provides up to 10x the speeds of 3G network. Apple is using this technology to provide data and multimedia streaming at a speed up to 150 Mb/s. Now users can access content in more speedy way. The new wireless standard also provides universal network support. It allows developers to design and develop such apps that want fast internet access.

Double Performance – A6 Chip (the CPU)

iPhone needs a powerful processor to perform a variety of tasks. The new device comes with the A6 chip. Apple has designed this chip with the integration of more ARM-based processing cores, cache memory, a GPU and other necessary electronics. The company has also doubled the speed in this chip for quickly processing applications. iPhone developers can now add more heavy graphics to their gaming and multimedia app projects.

Screen – 4-inch Retina Display with 16:9 viewing aspect ratio

Apple was launching all its iPhone versions with 3.5-ince displays until iPhone 4S. But the new iPhone has a 4-inch display with 16:9 viewing aspect ratio. It is Retina Display. High pixel density does not allow distinguishing individual pixels. The large screen has enough space to do things more conveniently. It shows more apps on the home screen. Now developers can easily use high resolution graphics in their gaming apps. It also gives developers an extra room for their app-ideas.

Camera – the iSight camera lets you capture more of the world

The new device has a new type of camera known as iSight. It lets you capture panorama pictures. It even works in low light and has 40 percent faster photo capture speed. Both front and back cameras can capture high HD videos. iPhone developers can use the features of iSight camera in developing camera apps.

The new iPhone has three microphones at the front and bottom for giving a clear voice quality. The audio quality has also been improved as speakers have five magnet transducers. It also has built-in noise canceling of your own audio out. So the entire audio system is now super impressive.

iOS 6 – The new OS with new apps like 3D Maps, Passbook, etc.

The new mobile operating system by Apple comes with 200 new features. But the killer ones of them include 3D Maps, Passbook, Upgraded Siri, Do not disturb, Integrated Facebook, Shared photo streams, VIP Inbox, iCloud Tabs, Unified Emails and Phone numbers in iMessage.
