There are plenty of Android apps in Google Play that offer unbelievable customization options for your device, but there are very few apps that transform the way you search your contacts and connect with them. TrueCaller's dialer app TrueDialer hopes to do just that by offering complete contact management support through easy customizations. We take the app for a spin and find out if it truly adds value to users.
Truedialer Android App Review
Truedialer app is available as a free download on Google Play. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you must input your phone number that will be promptly verified by a missed call or via SMS. You need to then sign up with an email address or use one of the social logins to get started. Once you sign in, you can check out a brief interactive tutorial that will show you some of the main features of the app.
HOW TO USE TRUEDIALER
- Swipe left and right to alternate between numeric keyboard and alphabetic keyboards
- Swipe to the left in the input field where the phone numbers are typed in to instantly clear it.
- Swipe to the right on a contact to view his or her contact info such as alternate numbers, email, and call log.
- Swipe to the right on a contact to send a text message.
- Tap a contact to make a call.
- Type an unknown number and if it is in the TrueCaller database, it will show up on your contact info screen.
- Tap Preferences to set birthday reminders, merge phone numbers and add themes

I love the fact that Truedialer makes everything seem natural. You can seamlessly find all the information you need about a contact who is in your contact list as well as one who is not known to you. Plus, a swipe of the screen lets you see every detail you need about a person, whether it is your call history or other contact information. I also love the fact that I can simply swipe to switch between keyboards.
It’s a little surprising that Truedialer hasn’t been integrated with the TrueCaller app, but its certainly looks to be a great compliment to it. Whether you have TrueCaller installed or not, I believe that Truedialer is a fantastic dialer app that offers an intuitive user experience. Do check it out and tell us what you think.
