EaseUS Coolphone Cool Battery is an app that aims to save battery life by fixing battery heat due to apps that are constantly running in the background. Considering that Android apps have this nasty habit of running in the background and sometimes even overheating your phone, it would be nice to know which ones are causing all that damage and EaseUS, makers of some useful utilities like the EaseUS Todo backup free tool have come out with the handy app EaseUS Coolphone Cool Battery. Let’s take a look at the app at work.
EaseUS Coolphone Cool Battery Android App Review
EaseUS Coolphone Cool Battery is a one tap solution for all your cooling needs. Once you download and install this free app, you will be asked to update your temperature units. It currently displays the results in Celsius so if you prefer to see your temperature in the notification area in Fahrenheit, just update the option as you see fit.

Now its time to hit that big button at the center to see the culprits who are eating into your battery life. In a few seconds you’ll get instant results on all the battery heating apps, mostly the ones that are running in the background, but also other settings like WIFI, Bluetooth and so on. You will be asked to close the apps en masse or if you prefer to keep some of them open, you can tap further and choose the ones you prefer to keep running and those that you want closed. Then its just a matter of tapping another button to close all the open apps.
EaseUS Coolphone Cool Battery Whitelist
EaseUS Coolphone Cool Battery also offers a Whitelist section on the Home screen where you can add apps that you never want any action to be taken on. The app also has a sister app called Quick Switcher that carries all the shortcuts to settings that are battery drainers; screen brightness, WiFi, mobile data, Bluetooth, flashlight, and so on. You can quickly turn on or off these various settings in the Quick Switcher app.
EaseUS Coolphone Cool Battery also has a couple of widgets; one for the Quick Switcher and the other one for the coolphone. The Quick Switcher, as I mentioned earlier holds all the shortcuts to common settings while the coolphone widget displays the battery life in percentage and temperature of the battery in its widget. If you head into the Settings, you’ll notice options to display these widgets in the notification area.

The app also offers 3 different modes of functioning. In the normal mode, calls, SMSs, and mobile data always stay on. In the Super mode, calls and SMSs stay on, but the brightness is dimmed, while in the default My Mode setting, your first settings are automatically recorded and used as the base for further operations. If you want to create another mode, you can click Custom mode, add your own title, and choose what you want in tits settings. most options are toggle on or off and creating a custom mode should be a piece of cake.

EaseUS Coolphone Cool Battery can only do one thing though; close off all open apps in a few clicks or less. There really isn’t a better way to keep things under control, but at least you notice a significant drop in temperature (between 2 to 5 degrees) and its always a pleasure to see a message that your phone is in prime condition.
Feel free to check out this nifty app and tell us if you found it useful.
