Social platforms like Facebook, Vine, Tumblr, and Instagram have a cool collection of pictures and videos. If you are using the web to browse through the collections, and you fancy downloading some of the images or videos, you can do it with little or no effort. But if you are accessing the pictures or videos on your Android device, the task becomes a lot more tedious. This is not the case anymore, thanks to EasyDownloader.
EasyDownloader for Android
EasyDownloader by Xper works only if you already have Facebook, Vine, Tumblr, or Instagram apps installed on your Android. One point to remember is that you can only download stuff that is open to the public. Images or videos marked private will not be available for download via EasyDownoader.
To start using the app, you need to first download it and install it on your Android. Once the app is downloaded, open the app and on the Settings screen, ensure that the Download mode is enabled.
You will notice the Instagram app icon on the top right corner of the screen. Tap the Instagram icon to navigate to the Instagram app. If you don’t sign in automatically, you will be required to sign in to Instagram.
When you come across a picture you want to download to your device, scroll down and look for the three vertical dots at the end of that post. Tap on the three dots to display the Copy Share URL.
That’s it. Instead of copying the URL, the image will get downloaded to your device’s library. When the download is done, you will see a message of the fact in the notification bar.
Head back to the EasyDownloader app and exit the app, or else the app will keep running in the background.
The app’s other features include the ability to backup your downloads to the SD card, set the pictures as wallpaper, and quick access to the apps and downloads folder(in Android 4.1).
To download videos on Vine, open up the post you want to download. Tap on the three dots and select the Share to option. In the Complete action using pop up window, choose Download with EasyDownloader.
If you are in the habit of saving photos or videos from Facebook, Instagram, Vine, or Tumblr, be sure to give EasyDownloader a go. It’s a great tool to get the job done.
