Nowadays, life moves so fast. Everyone is so busy with work and school to spare time for the gym. But we still have to keep fit one way or another. I began to search for a way to solve this problem.
A friend suggested that I try out some online fitness apps and see if it worked. I found that there was a lot to choose from. I checked out some of them and also the random reviews made by other users.
So, I have decided to write about my experience with the Spartan Home Workouts – No Equipment app.
Spartan Home Workouts Review
I got the app from the Google Play Store and immediately set it up. The ad had pictures of able-bodied men which was a picture of my target body shape. Setting up was easy and interactive.
My target was simply to get a good body shape like those in movies. The app had a general training routine that everybody could follow. Also, it allows you to create a personalized routine if the default one was too easy or difficult.
Furthermore, it has a diet section where you can manage the food you eat to optimize your results.
I tried the free mode initially but the exercises available to me were limited. When I upgraded to the pro version, this gave me access to many other challenging routines to increase my endurance level.
? I liked the simplicity of the app. Easy to use and understand. The creators surely deserve commendation. Also, it has an In-app instructor which helped to make it interactive.
? Using the pro version was interesting. The exercises were tougher and had more impact. Nonetheless, the free mode is a good place to start. There are a lot of routines to keep you busy.
? I had previously registered in a gym so I chose the intermediate level. It would help me to build on previous achievements.
? I noticed that it has a variety of plans, exercise routines, and training patterns that anyone could choose from. There were more than 140 different exercises, 12 muscle stretching categories and so much more. One could make a personal training routine.
? Some of the exercises were too tough for the level of difficulty. Although it felt challenging, the routines should be reviewed to ensure that one is not overworked.
My reason for choosing this app was simply because it said “no equipment” required. Of course, this means that the routines on Spartan Home Workouts could be done even without a dumbbell or bench or any other equipment.
My expectations were just basic. Burn some calories and get fitter. It worked although I have a few things that I didn’t like about the app.
Help users relax more by adding music. A soft gentle beat would help to calm the mind and nerves.
