Smartphones are simply the best. They add value to every minute of your day and help you organize your day... everyday without stress, but only if you have a collection of great apps at your beck and call. And there are plenty of such apps on the Play Store. Today. I’m going to be showing off one such app called Month: The Calendar Widget, which is a beautiful calendar widget that you can add to one of your home screens and get an instant view of all your activities and reminders for the day.
Month The Calendar Widget App Review

Once you download and install Month: The Calendar Widget, it will get added to your widgets section. Just long press on a blank home screen panel, select Widgets and tap or drag to add the widget to your home screen. The default calendar has a transparent background and shows off the calendar months against the background image on your screen. Swiping to the left and right displays the next and previous months.
The widget adds events from all the calendars configured in your Google account and you can add new events by tapping on a date in the calendar and then tapping New event. This will take you to your Google calendar settings where you can add an event name, time, location, assign it a color, add guests and reminder notification, make it public or private and save it.
To access your widget settings, you have to go to the apps and widgets section and tap on the app icon. This will take you to a screen where you can check out all the free themes that are available, alter your settings, or enter the shop so you can buy more theme packs and remove the ads.

The Settings section, which acted up a bit for me and made me restart my phone twice to access it contains options to select the calendars you want to display if you have more than one Google calendar or calendars created by other apps and synced to Google.
If you don’t want a particular calendar to get displayed you can simply tap to unselect it. To view your events for any day, just tap on the day and you’ll see a nice card like interface showing you what’s on the agenda for the day.
Month: The Calendar Widget Official Teaser
The free themes on the Month: Calendar widget are nice enough but I wish there was a way I could see which of my calendar days had events tagged to them at a glance. Month: The Calendar Widget is a neat little app without bloated features which may appeal to many users. It is available on the Play Store for free. Do check it out and let us know what you think of it.
