Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched two new variants of the next-gen Moto G in India. We have all the details including the price, tech specs, and availability of the much awaited Moto G5 Plus devices.
The 5th generation Moto G devices have a refreshing new look that Motorola promises will make heads turn. The devices come with a sleek aluminum design with plastic, glass, and metal giving it an overall stunning look.
Both the Moto G5 Plus devices come with exclusive Motorola features such as Moto Display, Actions, Twist Gesture, and One Button Nav. Both the devices will compete with the best selling smartphone of 2017 the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

Moto G5 India Price and Availability
?Moto G5 Plus devices will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting midnight tonight at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,999 respectively. It will be available in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold colors.
Exclusive Flipkart Launch Day Offers
Flipkart is offering some exclusive launch day benefits for users who buy the Moto G5 Plus. Buyers using an SBI Bank Credit or Debit Card can get up to 10% discount while those using the Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card can avail an extra 5% discount.
Exchange of any old smartphone can fetch an additional Rs.1500 while EMIs can be availed from prices as low as Rs. 728/Rs.825 per month.
Flipkart has also announced a BuyBack Guarantee scheme for the smartphone. Under this scheme, users who wish to exchange the Moto G5 Plus for any other smartphone are guaranteed a fixed exchange price of Rs. 7,000. So if a user decides to exchange the Moto G5 Plus for another smartphone costing Rs. 30,000, he will only have to pay Rs. 23000 for that new smartphone. This BuyBack Guarantee is valid only up to 8 months from purchase.
However, there is one more caveat. The Moto G5 Plus will have to be in good condition at the time of exchange. That includes the original box, charger, and accessories, all in working condition as well.

Software
One of the highlights of the Moto G5 is that both devices will feature the smart AI based digital assistant, Google Assistant, which was limited only to Google Pixel smartphones. Google's smart assistant has improved in leaps and bounds and is becoming an increasingly good competitor to Siri. However, Google Assistant will only come as a feature update at a later time.
