Save your Favorite News Feed Items in Facebook with Facebook Save

July 22, 2014

Anybody who takes up a challenge of using Facebook only for a few minutes a day is bound to break that rule as soon as it is made. That’s because your social timeline always has something that’s too hard to turn away from. Maybe there’s a link that’s worth exploring, or a movie review that you have to check out right away before you decide to pick up tickets for the show. Either way, now you might just be able to make that challenge more realistic, thanks to Facebook Save. This is a feature that lets you bookmark or save your favorite news feed items in Facebook for reading later.

Facebook Save for Web and Mobile

Facebook Save is available both on the web version as well as on your Facebook app. You can save links, places, movies, TV shows, and even music for reading later on either platform. You can also share the stuff you saved with your Facebook friends.

How to Save Links using Facebook Save

The saved items are organized in categories and you can open all of them or just the ones from a specific category. Furthermore, when you select a saved story you will be able to share it with others. If you’ve saved stories that you forgot to get back to, Facebook will send periodic notifications reminding you of the fact.
