When you think of cloud storage, you think of Dropbox. Dropbox has become the sweetheart among cloud solutions and even Google’s mighty alternative Google Drive hasn’t managed to make much of a dent in Dropbox’s popularity. But Google is definitely trying to one step ahead of its rival by offering third party integration with its cloud solutions. While these Google Drive Apps are not yet available on a grand scale, there are more than a handful of services that are sure to get your attention. Here are 15 Google Drive Apps that are sure to be quite popular with users.

Google Drive Apps can currently be launched only from the Chrome Web Store. So if you want to avail of these services, just sign in to the Chrome Web Store to install them. Note that you may have to register for one or more of the services to use them.

Once installed, you will find them by navigating to Create and then choosing More.

DocuSign

DocuSign lets you add tags or placeholders to a document and is ideal when you want to get a recipient’s signature on a contractual agreement, or other document that’s stored on Google Drive. You can do that in a few less steps plus track and manage such documents with the DocuSign app for Google Drive.

MindMeister

This leading online mind mapping application, lets you work on collaborative projects, manage online meetings, and work in real time with users across the internet. Now that MindMeister is integrated with Google Drive, you can open and edit mind map formats such as MindManager, Freemind and XMind directly from Google Drive and even sync their entire maps list.

HelloFax

HelloFax is a cool web application that lets you sign documents and send faxes online. It saves you the hassle of printing, signing, and then scanning documents to send to clients or customers. With Google Drive integration, documents you need to sign are that much closer.

SlideRocket

Pixorial Video

Pixorial Video is a great way to edit videos you uploaded to Google Drive.  Once you have trimmed, added titles or transitions to the videos, you can even share them on your favorite social networks.

The app that lets you manage all your apps in one central cloud space is now integrated with Google Drive. You can do so much with Jolicloud including creating customized apps in seconds, accessing your Dropbox files, and working with your Google Drive files.
