Moto G5 Vs Redmi 3S Prime

On paper, the Moto G5 and the Redmi 3S Prime are quite closely matched. The Moto G5 has the same 5 inch display like the Redmi 3S Prime but comes with a FULL HD screen resolution compared to the HD resolution of the Redmi 3S Prime.

When it comes to the storage, the Redmi 3S Prime scores over the Moto G5, which only comes with 2GB resolution and 16GB of internal storage. However, both can be expanded to 128GB via a microSD slot.

The Redmi 3S Prime also gets an advantage over the latter in terms of battery with 4100 mAh power behind it compared to the 2800 mAh of the Moto G5.

The G5 scores over the 3S Prime when it comes to the software, with the Moto running the latest stock Android. Users will have to contend with an older software and skin for the 3S Prime.

Finally, when we compare the price of the two devices, it looks as though the Redmi 3S Prime is the clear winner with an envious price tag of Rs.8999. NOTE: The Moto G5 will be launched in India on March 15th and the current price is only a tentative amount, which may change when it is formally announced.

On paper, it looks like the Redmi 3S Prime scores a definite win over the Moto G5. The trouble with buying the Redmi 3S Prime is that you'll have to wait to pick up the device via a flash sale.
